And Then There Was Something Called Love. But, Then There Was Love

And then there was love...

The thinking about the word "love" gets me anxious, it means so many things all at one time. It can have so many meanings. I mean think about, it have a variety of related, but distinct meanings in different contexts, yet, all come back to meaning something else.

If only like a movie, a scene right out of Sex & the City, dreaming like Carrie Bradshaw, planning her Plaza Hotel wedding and getting married in the New York's Most Historical library with all the greatest love stories; Some consider this the way love should be, a man should hold a boom box, playing "Love at First Sight" by Styx, or "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5, screaming my name and running off with him for love, riding off on a lawnmower with him , like in Sixteen candles ,waiting for me after a wedding, with a unexpected look of love, as I was the only girl in the world,. If only love was like a movie, yet movies were originally created to show people how to act, emotions in which came melodramatic tones and facial expressions.

But, life is not full of moments, so exaggerated and I will probably never ride of on a lawnmower or have someone stand over my window with a boom-box blasting music to win me over. Yet, I believe love is more than a story. It can not be described with poems or mole-dramatic movies only with true eye to eye connection, a feeling. Just that one glance, one special moment where you lock eyes and boom, you feel that, this is it, that true moment of happiness.

I honestly can't tell the gender of the taller figure so I'm going to silently leave this here...:
Spread Love

Although the nature of love is a subject of frequent debate, different aspects of the word can be clarified by determining what isn't love. Love, used as a general expression of positive sentiment is commonly contrasted with hate or neutral apathy; as a less sexual and more emotionally intimate form of romantic attachment, love is commonly contrasted with lust; and as an interpersonal relationship with romantic overtones, love is sometimes contrasted with friendship, although the word love is often applied to close friendships. In our generation, love is now possible ambiguities come with usages "girlfriend", "boyfriend", "just good friends".

Love has so many different aspects, yet it is shown in movies, embedded into our heads with happy ends and expressions with hugs and kisses; In my eyes, its about sex or how to please your over inner self, finding yourself within another, finding love, finding that one special person. Like the happy ending in the Greatest Love Story and the Notebook. Us as people made the word Love mean nothing and everything at the same time.

It should not be used lightly and usually described as I did in my opening paragraph.

In the classical world, the phenomenon of "love at first sight" was understood within the context of a more general conception of passionate love, a kind of madness or, as the Greeks put it, they views love was something given from the Almighty Man above like a madness that fills you within from the gods. This love passion through an elaborate metaphoric and mythological psychological schema involving "love's arrows" or "love darts," that source of which was often given to you in ancient times through an many different entity.  Bur more commonly known as Cupid or Romero.

As the legend of the mythological Cupid continues, the arrows are what mattered, if he ran out of arrows then he would not stand in the way.At times, the source of the arrows, whom I assume was Apollo, was said to be the image of the beautiful love object itself. If these arrows arrived at the lover's eyes, they would then travel to and 'pierce' his or her heart, overwhelming them with desire and longing ad feeling love sickness, or a broken heart.

Maybe, the arrows were made with such love that Cupid was there, to deliver the object yet remember through heart ache as well. Even though he shot an arrow those people were already meant to be, soulmates whom just seen something beautiful. Maybe this celebrated Cupid, a face for Valentines day is a mere image of something bigger, or he was there as someone whom created chaos. He was there for sure to fix that broken heart and love sickness, maybe he as well needed attention. So, the image portrayed of the "arrow's wound" was sometimes used to create oxymoron and rhetorical antithesis. Like an excuse, to cheat on your wife or deeply fall in love in you believe in that sort of thing. Imagine walking one day and you get shot by an arrow and now all you feel is the madness of love. It seems mad but is it? It was believed and manipulated. The maker of the arrows just put love into his craft and Cupid did some re-search.

I can only imagine the beginning of time, there is one per-historic painting that caught my eye. In 75,000 BC, among a rock was found an outline, which was concluded to be a horse, or a sort of animal that was was seen. I think this analogy was done wrongfully, but remember, its an analogy through my eyes and since it was such a prehistoric time, in this generation we believe that the brain could not accomplish what we do now. But think about the pyramids, how much love was put into building those. Love for the pharaoh, love for the Gods above, Love for work and labor, the love for Above . Thinking how many years that is is mind-blowing; I mean like a billion years away we already incorporated art to our routine of life. that was usually made with berries or a sort of colored plant mixed with water and, put in your mouth as you would blow the color out of your mouth. Who could have done that artwork, left their   mark there, was it to come back and see years to come, was it for memory. I believe we live for memories, they make us happy. In the end, we share memories and go different places to remember faces, people doing things around us, showing craft. Initially,we show love for happiness.

What would life and love be about if not memories. Now remember, memories are knowledge. Knowledge is power. Is happiness bout obtained power, power within, power above? Cultural differences in conceptualizing love thus doubly impede the establishment of a universal definition.

Make Love Worth It

"Love is a very serious topic to write about, since it is very hard to explain."

I believe that art and love go hand in hand. For millions of years, we expressed love through art, poems, literature, music.

"Evolutionary psychology has attempted to provide various reasons for love as a survival tool. Humans are dependent on parental help for a large portion of their lifespans compared to other mammals. Love has therefore been seen as a mechanism to promote parental support of children for this extended time." Reading that statement, masks what love really is. I truly, just want to find the person whom believes that and ask them what possessed them to believe that theory for LOVE.

Meaning love is happiness. Love would be the means to an end. What is love, love but not as I described opening my theory about it, but for you? Love is such an explainable feeling, yet I do felt true love. Its a feeling within your heart that spreads into our stomach, feelings like a zoo ran through your spinal cord and completed you, finished your soul. Now this is a explanation of love between two human soulmates- but how can we differentiate love. How do we explain love? How do we show love? What truly is love? Can we have love? Can we choose not to love. They say love and Hate have a thin line. Like the Ying & Yan, Black and White, some see life as two tones, when it can be so colorful; Or should I say filled with grey areas. Instead of being black and white, it has so many colorful areas, every tone of grey there is and black and white mixed with colors.

Love, Life and everything within our cosmic universes and dimensions, would for sure beat "50 Shades of Grey" in a match of who can handle the most pain in S&M, sex scenes would be a children's movie, and being tied up would be Disney World. I mean come on, being spanked would be something that would be considered less then normal, or should I say vanilla as Christen Grey said- you can say the word love is spending time in Willa Wonk's Chocolate Factory.

Confucianism came up with the concept of Ai. It was developed by the Chinese philosopher, Mozi in the 4th century BC in reaction to Confucianism's benevolent love. Now you see, Mozi tried to replace what he considered to be the long-entrenched Chinese over-attachment to family and clan structures with the concept of "universal love". In this, he argued directly against Confucians who believed that it was natural and correct for people to care about different people in different degrees. Mozi, by contrast, believed people in principle should care for all people equally. In a sense, we devolve into Mohism and it was stressed that rather than adopting, different attitudes towards different people. It meant love should be unconditional and offered to everyone without regard to reciprocation, not just to friends, family and other Confucian relations but to absolutely everyone equally in this world and others'. Later in Chinese Buddhism, the term Ai was adopted to refer to a passionate caring love and was considered a fundamental desire. In Buddhism, Ai was seen as capable of being either selfish or selfless, the latter being a key element towards enlightenment.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him, Dear friends, let us love one another for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." What is God then? LOVE IS GOD, GOD IS LOVE, WE ARE GOD, AND THEN WE ARE LOVE.

In Christianity, the meaning of love is for the love of god, but religion states that we just came to this earth lets say 6,000 something years ago. But, how illogical is that? If we have evidence of life on this planet for times that we can not even date back to. Lets say Christianity for a factor. For faith and love, it was fought just to be legalized around 300 AC.  Even, the story of Adam and Eve baffles me.

In Christianity, the practical definition of love is best summarized by Saint Thomas Aquinas, who defined love as "to will the good of another," or to desire for another to succeed. You see the explanation of the Christian need to love others, including their enemies. As Thomas Aquinas explains, Christian love is motivated by the need to see others succeed in life, to be good people. Look how similar each analogy is, what if we looked deeper into the book, understanding the author behind it. Now imagine Adam and Eve, if we look at it from a religious aspect, but that would kill the concept of the books being written that the world began a certain amount of years ago. What if those books were written for the love of God or for God to remember through the books, every book maybe something came here out of love to tell the story of each and evry single moment of time. Time is what needs more love. Time and enemies.

We even wrote regarding love for enemies !

“Our individual, extraordinary, and perfect goodness consists in loving our enemies. To love one's friends is common practice, to love one's enemies only among Christians.” But why only Christians? Where these books written by different people for other reasons, faith believed in other areas due to the things they saw, the culture that was practiced"

We have books explaining religion and concept of love within almost every culture and region. Buddhism, Islamic, Judaism, Hinduism, Persian, Latin views are all the same book, written differently. Explained differently, more or less the concept began to be questioned and evolved.

And as we all know history does repeat itself. So, was it love that inspires us, was it another being showing their presence within that rock, marking their spot as a bear would when ripping the bark off the tree. So, in years to come, they now have that moment. They were there, they loved and that moment of time is still visible to them through these books, through us, through our expression. But why write the books originally? Why do it if not for the happiness, the love, the feeling you get behind it?

Which brings me back to the topic of the meaning of means to an end, happiness equaling love, now was love a prime subject back then, is it within every painting, every book, every religion, truly love can be described as everything surrounding us. It may be different for each individual, depending on beliefs, but out there we do not know. Who do we think we are? What if killing a butterfly really moved a mountain somewhere else, those whom never felt love or want to feel love and have that ring put on their finger, that they wine and dine and wine about not having love, yet dine with vanity, temptation and even intimidation of your significant other may play a factor within your love or should I say life, within your true self. Love is being yourself.

Many people studied and have wrote books, thesis statements and teach this in college or universities. There are philosophical views on love. Many different theories attempt to explain the nature and function of love. Explaining love to a hypothetical person who had not himself or herself experienced love or being loved would be very difficult because to such a person love would appear to be quite strange if not outright irrational behavior. Among the prevailing types of theories that attempt to account for the existence of love are: psychological theories, the vast majority of which consider love to be very healthy behavior; evolutionary theories which hold that love is part of the process of natural selection; spiritual theories which may, for instance consider love to be a gift from a god; and theories that consider love to be an un-explainable mystery, very much like a mystical experience.

Furthermore, even though many try to find equations for love, which i find baffling as well, how can you explain someones love, if i ca not even explain my own, you ere not there for someone love, you do not feel others love inside of them, you only feel your own mind, body and soul. WE were not there, therefore, how can you assume that it is, what it is, how can someone or a group of people break down the meaning of something so strong and deep without actually experiencing maybe a near death or losing that love, being there, seeing it, then not having it and the way things are even created within such a primate time; but what if that painting was more than just the first animal they saw, but a symbol of love towards each-other or something they worshiped, they saw, a memory.

What baffles me the most is what happens after. I mean it is pure love, the greatest part is 60,000 BC years later. In 15,000 BC, a hand was added over the shape of a heart or horse, and was placed on the same rock. Now take that in for a moment, 75,000 BEFORE COMMON ERA and then 15,000 it was placed meaning 60,000 YEARS HAVE PASSED. Something about that rock and place, time and space was meaningful. These things are not mentioned as much as they should be As if the same person had come back there and I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT , that's millions for years passing through time and so many centuries just to come back to the same place to cherish that memory.

Furthermost, Back to Adam and Eve, they say Lilith was around as well; Meaning, love was around if we stay on the theory that we were all created out of love. Gods creations. So as one of those creations came Lilith. The legend of Lilith is actually close to something that came out of a horror movie. She hated Adam, they argued.  Adam did not really love her either, and I believe he even asked God for a someone like himself. For all you know, Lilith could have known, they weren't for each other; she never felt that spark. She would sneak off at night have sex, just like us go on dates, marry, and be independent with other creations, which unfortunately some turned out to be with demons and devilish things, creating witches and more evil within the world. But hey, at least she didn't eat the apple from the tree and stayed within Eden or Hell, which ever you believe she was in. I guess whats below us is above us. Yet, she is one of Gods Creations, as we are all.  Therefore, along with Adam and Eve- she was made out of love. Gods created her with love. Since, Eve was made out of Adams Rib, I am guessing a new trail for the Gods, thinking making her similar to Adam he mist have had a bright id to make him a part of his heart, yet the closest thing to your heart is your rib-cage, protecting your heart. As they say, men may have their mind and think, as they say don't be a back-seat driver, but remember woman turn your neck, we protect you, we help you think, we finish your spinal cord, so she would be a part of him, ensuring love. As how can you not love yourself, through Gods eyes and no one truly can say what God sees, or can they with love and prayer?

Now imagine Adam and Eve, if we look at it from a religious aspect, but that would kill the concept of the books being written that the world began a certain amount of years ago. What if those books were written for the love of god, maybe something came here out of love to tell the story of per-historic time. And as we all know history does repeat itself. So, was it them, was it another being showing their presence, marking their spot, so in years to come they now that they were there and that moment of time is still visible to them, but why do it if not for the happiness, the love, the feeling you get behind it? Therefore, whom had drawn the outline, What if it was a symbol of love that Adam and Eve had put there, or a symbol of love from a extraterrestrial. After years, I observed it the painting and truly from a philosophical view, and illogical view, I concluded, it is not just an outline of what archaeologists and art historians say it is; how can they know? They were not there; therefore, it is love. It has to be, something more than just a outline of a horse and a hand ,truly it MUST be more, HAS to be more. To me, it looks like a heart, a human heart drawn to the best of their ability; I mean anatomy wasn't the prime subject back then or was it?

As I said, love and hate have a thin line, that I will admit and are in all cultures, religions and practiced the same or differently. It is everything and it is nothing,

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven or whatever it may be. It causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly presence is perfect. It is perfect through us, he remembers through what we tell him. We only know what we are told. Look beyond the meaning and the feeling for a minute, the that minute to look within yourself, for soulmates are one. If you look into yourself, you are looking into the eyes of your love.

Love was the prime subject in every creation.
Love is what makes the world go round.
Love is the answer.
Love is Us.
